Paula Zeitlin Jazz Violin

TEACHING/CLINICS

Paula is a member of the jazz faculty at Wellesley College and the Rivers School Conservatory, where she teaches jazz violin and viola and coaches jazz string ensembles.

She has taught fiddle, rock and jazz improvisation for the past ten years in her private studio.

For several years Paula has conducted improvisation workshops and string jazz history clinics for string players and teachers throughout New England. She has worked with students of all ages and playing levels in public schools, Suzuki programs, and summer chamber music camps, and given presentations for professional music teachers' organizations (ASTA, MENC). She appeared on the panel Jazz String Instruction in Higher Education at the International Jazz Educators Association conference in January 2002.
